Excellent microSD card for Tesla Model S – reliable and perfect for Dashcam/Sentry Mode.
I've been using the SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card in my Tesla Model S for a while and it's been absolutely flawless. I formatted it using exFAT, inserted it into a USB adapter, and plugged it into one of the front USB ports — the car recognized it instantly.It records both Dashcam and Sentry Mode footage without any hiccups. The video files are stable, and I haven’t had any corruption or lost footage, even after long drives or extended parked sessions. Top notch performance and very trustworthy (unlike the overwhelming number of much cheaper off-brand cards available out there). Be smart and go with one of the well-known & trustworthy brands: SanDisk, Samsung, Gigastone, Lexar, PNY, Amazon Basics, etc. If you have never ever heard of the brand before, you may want to be a bit wary!

The right choice for your car’s dashcam
I use this with a USBC card reader as storage for my car’s built-in dashcam. I received a genuine card, performance is solid, and I’ve experienced no problems with bad blocks/data loss. I strongly recommend using a card like this instead of a thumb drive for this kind of application.

No problems on 24 hour security camera. Has been in use for quite a while. Paying a little more for a better chip is worth it. Previous chip plagued with having to reset device often.

Long term durability is there.
Reads and writes well. Over months of rewriting from cameras and it still works great. Definitely endures. Worth it in the long run.
