The BEST 👌 POWERFUL vaccume 4/27/24
I looked at lots of vacuums and read lots of reviews. Did my research and took a chanceThis Eureka PowerSpeed NEU 180 sounded good, with lots of great reviews. I need something that will take care of pet hair and dust as we rent a house that has old shagg carpet thats very much old and the previous tenants " prob "had pets lolThe bag less system is simple to use and super easy to empty, and does not require replaceable filters which is a plus.A lot of reviewers showed how much hair the vacuum got up after showing the old vacc and what it got up first. They were not kidding! It was not even compareable to what this beauty can do,! I ran the Eureka over a very small area in living room maybe 3ft total ? one time ! not multiple passes and the dust bin was nearly full of pet hair and dirt. See pics . It had only been a couple of days since I vacuumed with my old shark vacc that I thought was the best man was I wrong ! I use to sware by and love shark products .I am shocked at what was in the container. I am amazed! Shocked and Blown away ,! And discussed that this carpet was that dirty .( old tenants deff had pets ) I am a clean freak I vaccume and clean non stop every day . Also my 8 year old has asthma. Allergies to pet dander. This thing is light and easy to maneuver, gets under under the edges of furniture easily. It cleans right to the edge. Unlike any vacuum I ever had before, this is NOT noisy at all . No dust or particles in air from the vaccume . I can feel how powerful the suction is .The ease of dumping the dust container is also a big thing for me. Other bagless similar vaccs and my old shark vacc was a nasty dusty mess to empty. Dust particles from filter always in the air . Even after id clean the filter. Also very heavy. Also expensive! ! !I paid a pretty penny for my shark and other bagless vaccums with thinking you get what you pay for right,? .Thats why I also was Skeptical about buying this vacc at less than 100.00 it was so inexpensive, but had great reviews . now I know why. Its amazing !!! 👏I can't find anything negative about the Eureka. I am looking forward to vacuuming the rest of the house and picking up a ton of hair and grime from the previous tenants. The owners should have replaced this carpet years ago and didn't probably because of how durable shagg carpeting can be, but it grosses me out . I am so happy I went with reviews / my gut and bought this Eureka ( MaxSwivel Pro NEU350 with Pet Tool, Yellow ) vs shark or another expensive vacc .Some notes on things previous reviewers complained about:Some folks talked about the hole at the end of the handle, and that the hose was too short. They must not have gotten the instructions with theirs. The handle doubles as a wand that extends the hose so you can reach furniture, drapes, etc. The Owner's Use Manual that came with mine is great. Well Illustrated, thorough, and easy to understand. Another plus.Several people said the height adjustment did not work, and it either was too low and burned the carpet, or too high and wouldn't clean. I checked mine before using it, and seems fine no issues .I will say I just got this Yesterday but I unboxed it and used it today 04/27/2024I will update if anything changes. I am on cloud 9 right now couldn't be happier ☺️ this is also the most detailed and longest review I have ever left! Buy The Eureka you will NOT be sorry!

Small, quiet, efficient
Very easy to assemble, a few clicks and done! The design is sleek and lightweight and when the power is turned on, is super quiet. The small swivel head makes it easy to switch directions, go around corners, and get between small spaces. The canister is easy to remove and also adjusts to a high upright position so you can reach further under your couches. The vacuum quality is excellent and picks up everything you don’t want on your carpet. The cord is extra long so you won’t need to constantly switch outlets. Overall durable and does not take up a lot odd space.

Second time's a charm - wow does this vacuum suck up the dog hair!
I could not get the screws to go into the handle of the Eureka "Pet Upright Vacuum Cleaner for Carpet and Hard Floor, OmniVerse NEU801BL with QuickShift Technology, Blue." So I called the toll-free help line - who was no help at all. They suggested I go to the hardware store and get longer screws. I did that - and discovered the problem is that the screw hole was drilled wrong. One of the new bolts fit in - but the other side did not.Okay, so I asked to return it. They said I'd have to package it up in a box and apply a mailing label. Well, once you "click" the handle into the base, you can't "unclick" it - so it doesn't fit in the box! Meanwhile I still don't have a functioning vacuum cleaner. What a waste of time and money!UPDATE: The return went well, and to my surprise, Eureka replaced the vacuum cleaner. The second one assembled as promised and I think I understand the problem - there are two small nuts taped into place that the handle bolts are supposed to go into - the first one I got didn't have those screws - it was just open. Now that I was able to assemble and use it - WHAT A VACUUM! I'm amazed at how much dust it sucked out of my carpet! Seems to be handling the combination of my daughter's long hair and the copious fur shed by my Bernese Mountain Dog on a daily basis. Powerful. The head is kinda small (width-wise) but I guess it gets into smaller areas more easily that way. Fits under my furniture easily. The only thing I don't really like about it, is that you have to detach the entire canister assembly WITH THE CORD STILL ATTACHED to empty it. However, it does a fantastic job picking up the dog hair and dust out of my old carpets.

As a person who vacuums a lot & has three cats this is perfect
My old vacuum was alright, especially since its a budget vacuum, but this one is an absolute blessing from above 🥹I have three cats so of course I want one that does the job throughly, so I do not need to spend a stupid amount of time in each room multiple times per week. With this vacuum I only need to go through the house approximately once per week and it does so much better than the last one.I have not had any issues with the cord or hair getting tangled into the machine. There have only been a couple of strands of hair (like 5 strands of long human hair) that got caught on the metal part of the canister, but that was not an inconvenience whatsoever. The rollers have been holding up really well too. No issues with hair there. The only "downsides" are that it is a minor inconvenience to use the attachments so I can get the baseboards, but honestly if you don't have mobility issues, it's not the end of the world. Also the canister is smaller than most vacuums, but since I'm the type of person who empties it regularly it's not an issue. I think a reason why some people have issues with the hair in the canister is because they don't empty it regularly. The main reason why I bought this was because of a YouTube channel called VacuumWars. This one is in their #3 spot for corded vacuums. I didn't chose the first or second place ones is because those were significantly more expensive. I would definitely check out their channel if you're feeling nervous about making the investment.Overall, it's a great investment even if the price is a bit high.
