High hatch rate
We ordered 30eggs. The package Took a while to get picked up after a label was generated which worried me. So I reached out to ask why and they informed me that they do it that way to ensure order quality. So I was patient and waited for my eggs. I Received 32 eggs when I only ordered 30, so that was very nice. All eggs were in perfect shape. No cracks or anything. We ended up getting an incubator that was not very good unfortunately, but even with sub par equipment 29 out of the 32 eggs hatched. Out of the 3 eggs that didn't hatch. One was fully developed and piped the egg but couldn't get out, one died at around day 7 or 9 of incubation, and the last egg that did not hatch was not fertilized at all. 2 ended up dying after hatching. One couldn't walk and over heated and died, the other one I'm pretty sure died from being scared to death from me accidently dropping a bowl of their hatched shells into the brooder. There is also one that was born with curved toes. He's doing great, and another one with a curved neck. Which I figured would die, but it's been a week and it's still going strong. So I'm just gonna let it live it's best life. I would definitely recommend buying eggs from this seller. It was a great experience. My first experience, but a great one. I'm in TN and had to get them shipped from FL. I was expecting only half to mature because of that, and got 29 to hatch and have 27 birds total so far a week after hatching them. All while using probably the worst quality incubator ever lol. The quail I received were pharoah patterned as well. Very pretty!

Welp, got quails.
Reading some of the other reviews I had gone into this expecting about a 50% failure rate. Not at all the case. Yesterday morning, I had to, yesterday night, I had four. This morning, I had 16. At present time I have 21.There are also another three that I think could have actually hatched and been healthy, had it not been for my own personal failures. There were at least four that were unfertilized. Not a huge bummer, other than one of them that was unfertilized was the absolute coolest looking egg with these tiny little speckles. Totally badass. But unfortunately not fertilized. Womp wompThey are fertile, they are now adorable little fluff balls right now. I'm trying to handle them often to continue to build trust. All I can say, is I didn't expect ordering quail eggs off of Amazon to go anywhere. But, now I am a brood mother.

Ordered from them 3 times. 3rd time came from somewhere else
Ordered from them 3 times. 3rd time came from somewhere else.First and second time ordering, came from Main, was packaged wonderfully, had 10 extra eggs, came with instructions, and was delivered 2-3 days after it was shipped. I had great success and had about 28 hatch from each order. I was very happy with the results and decided to order again. The third order came from Tennessee, was in transit for a week and a half, was packaged sparsely, had exactly 30 eggs and some were broken. Only had 8 potentially viable eggs at lockdown after candling and only had 4 hatch. They seem to have wildly different outcomes and that seems to be because the eggs come from different vendors, which is weird because it did not say that they come from different places.I am very unhappy with this and that’s why I’m writing this review.

Above and Beyond!
Daily Bread Homestead is above and beyond!!! I purchased 30 quail eggs and was given extras just in case. Beautifully packaged in foam with supporting paperwork to assist with the hatching process!!! Looking forward to seeing if I have a good hatch rate.

Nice chicks, but low fertility rate
Ordered 30, got 30, 6 of them were broken on arrival. 4 others had cracks, but was able to seal them. Only a few showed development at 7 days, but incubated all until 12 anyway. At 12 days, only 12 appeared fertile. 2 rotted. Only 5 hatched. Packaging definitely needs to be better, extra eggs for those that break would have been appreciated. Relatively low fertility rate.

Best buy!!!
Waited to write review to they hatched and we'll worth it!!!! The eggs came nicely packed and secure, all arrived in perfect shape. After resting for 2 days I started incubation. Started pipping on day 16 and as of today day 18 so far 28 have hatched and still have 3 more in other incubator that's pipping. Did receive a 6 extra eggs which was a bonus. Have 8 left to go and 3 more appear to be hatching soon. So fertile rate is amazing. Best eggs I've received ever, will buy more from this seller!!

About half hatched.
The media could not be loaded. Eggs hatched at about the normal hatch rate. Lost a couple in the brooder, but they did hatch. No eggs were broken. Arrived on time in a nice foam protective container. They are very delicate right after hatching. The video shows 9 quail made it past 2 weeks. One looks half sized and we'll see if it survives, but the rest are doing fine. Yes, there's a baby chick in there too, but I will be moving it to the brooder with the rest of the chicks and ducklings. It just hatched 5 minutes ago. I wouldn't recommend that you normally keep baby quail and chicks together. The bigger chicks will trample the smaller quail to death. Ask me how I know. Overall, nice hatch, worth it if you're interested in starting a flock of quail.

Low fertility so priced right.
30 count for $18.99 with free shipping is a deal. But only 9 hatched all on day 17. On day 19 now with no others in between. Could provide an update and wait another day but I'm sure that is it. 30% rate is not good, was hoping for at least 50%. I would still give this seller a try.Update: Day 20. No additional chicks. of the 21 remained, only 5 were developed. I kind of suspected this during the candling process. Sort of a waste to have half the eggs not fertile
