The cloth is approximately 10"x10".

I have purchased many of these kits and honestly I think they put the thread color they have available. They do not send a new dmc skein. They send the amount of thread they think you will need

Q: Can i just embroil clothes and not the cloth given?

The design is printed on the cloth and cannot be transferred to other fabric.
