Ricoh Theta SC2 Blue 360° Camera, Blue with Lens Cap TL-1 for Theta V, Theta S & Theta SC 360 Spherical Digital Cameras

Received the camera, connected to computer and updated firmware, connected to my iPhone 13 without any problems. Zillow 3d created virtual tour super easy.

I use this camera to take photos of the Milky Way. It is great.

I use this cam to add other content to my You Tube channel. One you get past the learning curve to edit in post it pretty incredible. On board stabilization could be better and no micro SD storage is a bummer but the price point evens out. Good cam to get into 360 filming

Ricoh Theta makes 2 versions of the SC2 which is the dumbest thing! there is a business edition that will take photos on each side at separate times so you can get out of the picture. THIS CAMERA DOESN'T.Be aware that if you're using this for Docusketch it does work and connect but it does NOT take the 2 photos at separate times like the version of this camera that is sold by Docusketch. that small feature is probably worth the extra $100.Note: I don't work for Docusketch but I am a contractor that uses this with their system.

Excellent 360 pictures, best in its class. However there are drawbacks: wifi is not strong enough and I wish there were protective replaceable outer lenses. Sooner or later outer lenses will get scratched and even small ones leave spots on the picture. Also app is not available for Android 7.0 and lower.

I understand the Ricoh theta SC2 is cheaper than other models like the Z1 but for nearly $300 I expected clear images to say the least. I was disappointed to find that the camera quality is almost like that of an iPhone 4. You may be satisfied to have it for personal use. However it is most definitely not the camera you’re looking for if you want it for your business or professional usage.

I use this camera for listing rentals on Zillow etc It works great for uploading to their website. The app is easy to navigate and the photos make the places look awesome. Really gets those 360 shots and panoramas that your cellphone won’t get. Seems pretty durable. The price? It’s a little high but it’s money well spent if you get your place looking great and it rents fast right? Don’t forget to purchase a tripod at the same time. Pretty hard to use without one.

The Theta SC works very well for real estate tours. Has a little problem with bright windows, but overall, I'm pleased with the results it gives.

Lo he adquirido en reacondicionado, con lo que me ha costado casi la mitad de lo que cuesta ahora. Por ese precio si vale la pena, ademas la he estado probado por si tenia algun problema y la verdad que va genial.En cuanto a calidad en 4K se ven muy bien los videos, pero en la aplicacion propia de Ricoh y en el movil, las fotos tambien se ven muy bien. Los videos en 1080p un poco peor, pero en dias luminosos sin problema.He tenido algun problema con la aplicacion movil, ya no todos los moviles reconocen la camara.La camara si la consigues por unos 150€ esta muy bien, es una experiencia distinta y cuesta aconstumbrase ya que con una sola fotos tienes todos a tu alrededor, pero para tener un recuerdo global de zonas nuevas a muy bien.Recomendable conseguir un palo selfie para su uso, con rosca de camara.Como pegas la compatibilidad de algunos moviles, la calidad de algunos videos cuando la luz es baja y la capacidad de la camara, ya que te obliga ponerla a 1080p si quieres grabar mas, ya que en 4K se llena muy rapido. Ademas el cambio de 4k a 1080p tiene que ser por la aplicacion, no hay posibilidad desde la camara.En cuanto a estabilidad, no es demasiado buena, pero si no te dedicas a mover mucho la camara mucho queda bastante estabilizado.Importante, esta camara no es como las de toda la vida que si quieres grabar algo de la derecha debes mover la camara hacia alli, cuando grabas con esta camara es siempre en la misma direccion ya que estara cogiendo todo.Probe la Ricoh Theta V y la verdad que no he notado mucha mejor calidad, eso si, con esa otra mi movil la detectaba bien, pero casi en manejo me gusta esta mas y ademas es mas economica.Saludos.

Ich nutze sie um 360 Grad Aufnahmen für virtuelle Objektbesichtigungen aufzuzeichnen. Funktioniert einwandfrei und die Videos sind klasse! Einfaches Handling mit der App obendrein. Tolle Kamera!

Qualität der Bilder und das erstellte Stitch-Ergebnis (Zusammensetzung beider Einzelaufnahmen zu einem Kugelpano) überzeugt. Auch die einfache Bedienbarkeit spricht für dieses Modell. Das 3x so teure Spitzenmodell aus der Theta-Serie kann hingegen seine 60 Megapixel nicht in zusätzliche Bildschärfe umsetzen, da die Objektive nicht besser sind.Positiv ist auch die Langzeitbelichtung zu bewerten, da sie sogar den Sternenhimmel einer mondlosen Nacht überzeugend darstellen kann. Dann zeigt sich allerdings der Abfall der Abbildungsleistung am Bildrand der beiden Fisheye-Objektive in der Übergangszone beider Einzelaufnahmen: Dort sind Sterne dann zu Strichen verzerrt. Die Himmelsdrehung spielt hingegen selbst bei maximaler Belichtungszeit von 60sec noch eine untergeordnete Rolle.Das schlanke Gehäuse dieser kleinen und leichten überall-dabei Kamera überzeugt und verschwindet aus den Kugelpanobildern völlig.Auch die beiden Smartphone-Apps Theta und Theta+ sind leicht bedienbar, nur von der Windows-Version hätte ich mir mehr an Funktionalität erwartet.Die einzig wirkliche Schwäche:Die WLAN-Verbindung zum Smartphone reißt bisweilen öfter ab, obwohl die Kamera sich in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet.

Gute Einsteigerkamera.Einfach zu bedienen. Macht tatsächlich 360 Grad in alle Richtungen, auch nach unten. Man sieht auch das Stativ oder sich selbst, wenn man unter der Kamera steht.Habe mir noch einen Selfiestick mit Schraubanschluss für ein Kamerastativ sowie eine Bluetothfernbedienung fürs Mobiltelefon dazugekauft.Zusammen ein perfektes Equipment.Auch für Google Streetview/ Photo Sphere geeignet.Kann das Produkt sehr empfehlen.Tipp: wer sparen will, kauft die rosa Variante. ( so wie ich)Kostet 80 Euro weniger als z.B. die Cremefarbene und macht das Gleiche.
