I have an auto-immune condition wherein one of the effects is VERY dry lips - so I try to keep something on them at all times to prevent drying and peeling. When I first opened and tried these, I did not think i'd like them because they were exceptionally sweet. Not sure what ingredient they use that causes that, but I don't like how sweet they are. However, what I did find is that they work to keep my lips moistened much better than much more expensive lip balms. I will most likely purchase them again.

Lip Smackers is VERY good for your lips! It has castor bean oil in it, which is known to heal, not just coat skin. Compare it to what you're using now. I only buy Lip Smackers because it's the only one with this ingredient. The most skin nourishing products don't have to cost a lot. I give these away to the grandkids and tell the parents about castor bean oil!

They taste great and match the flavor pretty well. They don't work too well for chapped lips and will slightly color your lips too.
