I have a strat that seemed to have no power when played. I considered changing the pickups. After talking with a local luthier, I decided to try heavier strings. I had nines on it. Switched to these. Had to make some adjustments to the guitar neck and saddles. But finally got the punch I wanted from the strat. Worked so well that I also put heavier strings on another guitar and brought more life to it, as well. Not the perfect fix, but a major difference and much cheaper than new pickups.

These have been my choice got electric guitar for over 40 years . Don't use anything else . After break in they hold tuneeven with heavy bends . If you've never used them you should give em a try .

My son is a self taught guitar player. In this process we have found new learners tend to break lots of strings. :) We have had to replace lots of strings until we found this brand. He is happy with this product. They are easy to install even for a beginner, the tension is not an issue. They have a good found and perform well. Will buy again.

Coming from 10s on a Ibanez electric it really changes the whole feeling on the guitar, high e bends are much easier, and I find it makes overall playing more relaxing
