Arrived promptly (as usual with Amazon Prime) and in perfect condition .The lamp charges via a small charging point at the back ... well I say back , but its circular !!! opposite the switches would be more accurate !!! Power lead is supplied .. Its a USB powered charger so you can use your phone charger or ,I guess , your computer .. I cant really say how long it takes to charge as I always charge such devices with a powerbank which cuts out when the device is charged , but I guess a couple of hours .Battery life seems excellent . Mine is used as a bedside light as the power points and light switch are 4 million miles from my bed . After a good couple of weeks , the light is still working after it's initial full charge .The lamp operates from three touch switches .. 1... On / off ..2...Dimmer ,..3...Cold/warm light .When you find your desired setting , the lamp remembers it so no need to faff about every time . I prefer the warm , yellowish setting but I suppose that's a personal preference . The variation of brightness is great ... from very dim (as a nightlight type brightness ) to very bright , which is plenty bright enough to read by , if desired .This lamp is not perfect . As one reviewer has said , it would be nice if the on/off switch was raised to make it a little easier to find in the dark. Also , it would be better if a standard mini usb charging point was used . However , these are very minor niggles .Overall , i would say this is easily one of the best items i have ever bought from Amazon . Put it in your basket and click "buy" .

I had spent an obscenely long amount of time searching for bedside table light. My requirements were something that was dimmable as primarily I would be using the light to do middle of the night nappy changes on the baby and so u wouldn't have to sit in the dark when feeding. And would you know, there are not many lamps that have a dimmer switch. I then came across this. There are are few different suppliers selling this version which not only has a dimming option but also changes the hue of the light from warm yellow to cool white. Also I wanted a lamp that when you turn it on remembers the dimness settings as I didn't want to cycle through the brightness to get to the desired one each time I turned the thing on. Perfect so far.The price ranges from anywhere between £14 to £20. I took a punt on this one which was £14. Speedy delivery on prime.When it arrived I must admit the box seemed bit small and I wondered how effective this little light was going to be. Howevrr I needn't had worried. Straight out of the box there was some charge so I went into the nearest dark room and turned it on. The light is spot on. Exactly what I need. Dim enough at the lowest setting to not be sitting in the dark and then can brighten if required. Also it remembers the brightness and the hue you select so each time you turn it on you don't have to cycle through and adjust. It's a very lightweight item and as it's not got a lead you can move it around wherever it's needed. Made of plastic but top looks a bit like frosted glass. Only possible improvement I can think of so far is if the 3 buttons to turn on, change hue and change brightness had some kind of Ridge or raised part so it's clear where the buttons are. However this is a a very minor suggested improvement.I wish there could be other lamps made perhaps with a bit more of a stylish edge but with the same settings, it would be even better but it serves my purpose so I'm happy with that.

We brought this as a repeat purchase as we had one from years ago that we used as a night light for our little boy. But the design of this light was different from our previous one. There is a power button that lights up blue all the time which is great for finding the on button in the dark but the battery life is very poor compared to our last one and this light is clearly a drain on that battery. We where charging it up every 2 days. Yes it was on for 10 hours per night but the previous light would last 2 weeks in comparison. So probably better suited to an occasional use light not a night light. After 2 months the dimmer switch and light colour change button stopped working as well. So we have since stopped using it and would have returned it but the option isnt available on Amazon. So dont recommend this.

This has to be one of the best buys I have made on Amazon in the recent past. I use it in my small study as my overhead main lighting system is just too bright for my purpose. This smaller, and more eco-friendly system, is ideal for my personal purposes. The best thing about it is that it can be used without connecting it to the mains system. The battery allows for several hours of use without concerns regarding wired connections. The light is bright to supplement necessary activity for normal usage. We live in an area which suffers from regular power outages and this little gem is seen as a positive source to allow for normal activity when the main supply is out. It is cheap, reliable, and magical. What more can i say?

Perfect at first. Good solid unit , perfectly pitched light for child's bedroom. Really thought I'd found an excellent night light.Unfortunately after a few weeks ( with intermittent use) the light did not hold its charge throughout the night. Obviously this is a major issue. Will search for another light to do an acceptable jobs. Disappointed .

Excellent product, used for holidays as a night light for daughter who doesn't like the dark. Easy to charge and has a good battery life. Do not need to worry where the nearest plug is or that it will overheat. You can change the brightness of the light.

This is the 2nd version of this lamp I’ve had the last one lasted 6 years before it stopped charging efficiently so was happy to get the same brand again. The battery lasts a decent amount of time and is quick to change up fully again.
