Great value for what you get
If you want an electric full size key piano, look no further for the price. presuming its still a good price , £179 at time of purchase. I didn't need a full size keyboard but the price for its application in a home studio was fantasticI like the fact it is merely an electric piano, not that i'm knocking the ones that have multi voices and drum track backing, as i dont need them. if you do want these additions, then this piano wont be for you, unless you use usb to host. The sound of the piano voice is fairly accurate and as described, also it has an electric piano sound, organ bass and synth sound, and you can add reverb etc..it is reasonably loud at max setting, but probably not loud enough for noise makers:-). this seems to be what some purchasers have had concerns about.Ive read some reviews that the weighting isnt very good, i dont totally agree. it depends what you will be using it for, be it strictly standalone piano or midi trigger or both.Outputs are as described for your choice of applications so look though product description info.Whats very handy is the usb to host. NOTE usb cable not provided in the package! (its a type-B USB cable exactly like the ones used in most home printers)For those not so sure about technology, this means it acts as a midi device when plugged into your computer and can trigger a whole world of other sounds in programmes (like cubase etc)..it becomes your drummer, your piano/accordion/orchestral strings/bass/guitar/sfx trigger as loud as you like running through connected speakers.it isnt heavy to move around and isnt difficult to get around setting up. it worked straight away out of the box within a few minutes.

Excellent Choice for a Beginner Learning Piano
As a 35-year-old IT worker with zero prior experience in playing the piano, I took a leap of faith and decided to start my musical journey with the Alesis Recital 88 Key Digital Piano. And boy, am I glad I did! First off, the 88 keys provide an authentic piano feel, making it a breeze to transition from a digital keyboard to an acoustic piano in the future. The touch sensitivity is spot on, allowing me to express myself through varying degrees of dynamics in my playing. One of the best features for a beginner like me is the built-in lesson mode. It has been incredibly helpful in guiding me through the basics and learning different songs step by step. The voices and tones are rich, giving me a diverse range of sounds to explore as I progress in my learning. The connectivity options are a real bonus for an IT worker like me. I can easily connect the piano to my computer or phone, allowing me to access various educational apps and even record my practice sessions to monitor my progress. The Alesis Recital 88's portability is another big plus. It's lightweight and compact, so I can easily move it around my apartment or take it with me when I visit friends or family. My only minor gripe is that the speakers could be a bit more powerful, but it's not a deal-breaker since I can always connect external speakers for a more immersive experience. In conclusion, the Alesis Recital 88 Key Digital Piano is an excellent choice for beginners like me who are diving into the world of piano playing. With its realistic feel, helpful features, and easy connectivity, it has made my learning journey enjoyable and rewarding. I highly recommend it to anyone starting out on their piano adventure!

Good cheap range piano when on sale
Why did you choose this product over others?:Classical pianist living in a rented flat during a cost of living crisis. Pretty good as a cheap keyboard - got on sale for £135 ( the black one which I preferred was £174... But I'll take the extra £40 for the sake of the colour) Cons: keys aren't very weighted as I would like + I find the touch sensitivity is very mid in the treble ranges. Also lower octaves, especially when playing chords, keep drowning out the middle/ higher octaves when trying to bring out the melody.Does the job, as I miss playing piano.Would be great for band piano !

Great value for money!
The media could not be loaded. Considering that the piano is only £200, it’s of great quality! The keys are well build, it sounds fantastic. Its minimalistic design gets the job done. Additionally, getting a 3 month free trial of Skoove Premium is highly appreciated. I’m sure this would be great for kids learning piano for the first time. However, I’m a young adult and what I like about this keyboard is its affordability. I had struggled to get a keyboard for months due to the high cost, so to get a keyboard like this that doesn’t sacrifice on quality is fantastic.
