Great product and even better service
This product is great! It is well built and functions awesomely. It connects fast and plays audio flawlessly. The touchscreen is very nice and responsive and the dash cam and rear view camera are great aswell. The product is amazing and the customer service is the best. They got back to me very quickly and helped me set up the custom boot logo. This is a great product and I am already planning on purchasing again for another vehicle.

Great way to add new technology to any car and great for business travellers to use in rental cars
Do you want to use carplay or android auto but don't want to invest time and money in replacing your stock radio or maybe your radio is integrated into your car and can't be easily replaced? This is a great option to get you new features at a reasonable price and quick and easy self install in pretty much any car or truck.QualityDevice is well built looks as good as standalone navigation units sold under big name brands.Display is crisp my pictures of the devide don't show it but resolution is great along with the color.DisplayVery bright and crisp with automatic adjustment that can be turned off and manually adjusted but in auto mode brightness of the screen will adjust depending on surrounding light. This will be good so you don't have to worry about adusting it at night or during the daytime.TouchscreenThis does not run on android OS so its very responsive and boots up quickly. I have android based system in my other cars and they are known to take a bit to load. Touchscreen movement is clean and smooth and does not require a lot of repetitive touches to select options. I connected to android auto wth my samsung flip and it loaded quickly.DVR CamerasAdded feature is the ability to record video from the front camera as a onboard dvr. Image is clear and the device saves the files to an included micro sd card. Also comes with a backup camera but I have not installed it as I am building a custom enclosure to mount this unit in my roof of my car in a space between the sun visors. You can download an app on your phone and connect to the device and access the recording files if needed.Mounting and InstallDevice powers up with a universal usb-c connector that plugs into an available power outlet but I am going to use a permanent mounting harness that can be found on amazon for a permanent installation. It comes with both an adjustable suction mount if you want to be able to use it in multiple cars or a hard mount that can be mounted on the dash for a more permanent installationAudioThe device offers a few different ways to connect to your car or truck radio- Bluetooth- aux input with included cable- FM Modulator, you tune it to an unused frequency on the fm band and it will send audio through the radio- Internal speaker, great if you are a traveller and want something you can use in a rental without to much effort. The internal speaker will help with navigation audio and you could play music through it but keep in mind its not that large so you won't be shaking the windows and is probably equal to the sound of a phone speaker.Overall experienceIts amazing how far tech has come and how many features are packed in to this device a this price point. 9" screen is huge so its very easy to see what you need without straining your eyes. Once I have it permanently mounted I will see how it performs longterm and will update my review if anything comes up.

Good clear screen
Works well, clear screen, many options I like it a lot. The DVR can display front, rear or split screen of both.

Not a bad option for adding Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
I have a 2017 Honda HR-V which has a basic, non-touch screen radio system without CarPlay/AndroidAuto. Since Hondas manage most of the system management (Like Maintenance Minders and Oil Life), I didn't want to replace the stereo and risk losing the ability to reset those options. A quick Google search can point you to a CR-V stereo unit that works with the HR-V, but it looked like it would cost more than I was willing to pay when it was said and done and the stereos didn't look great either, in my opinion. They remind me of the first pre-touchscreen head units with oversized displays, but with the CarPlay OS. To me, the OEM stereo in the HR-V definitely looks a lot better even without CarPlay.I've been looking at these tablet-like devices as an alternative for a while and decided to give one a try. After a few days of comparing products, I settled on the 9" model of this one. The videos claimed there were a couple options for mounting the until on your dash or window, so it looked like I would be able to have a little freedom in where I put it.One of the mounting options was an arm with a suction cup. This suction cup ended up not suctioning, but "looks" like a suction cup and has a sticky substance on it to stick it on a small round plate you put somewhere on your dashboard which has a sticky 3M-style pad. I used this option for about a day and it wouldn't stay stuck to the plate. The plate is firmly in place and not easy to remove, which is what my fear about using the 3M-style mounting options.Currently I have it mounted with the stationary cradle stuck to my dashboard. I'm looking for a better mounting option because I'm not entirely satisfied with how it is. I pulled some of the video from the device and the video rattles and shakes while driving. The 9" unit is pretty large when mounted on top of my dash. It takes up more of my viewport than I I might be comfortable with, which is why I am looking to mount it differently. The 7" version might not be as obstructive.I have mine connected through the Aux port. My phone is connected to both my stereo, and this unit via Bluetooth. There's a loud pop when it first turns on due to the Aux port. Since my phone is connected to the stereo, it handles my voice commands, so I don't get that option and it doesn't respond to "Hey Siri" like an actual CarPlay. Granted I have only had this unit a few days, so I might be able to get that to work. I'm not confident that I can get it to play nice with my car's built in microphone though, so I'll probably have to stick with the car to handle calls and such.My vehicle already has a backup camera, so I haven't tested that part. I did notice that when I took out the SD card to grab a video, that there is a folder for Front and Rear, so I'm not sure if it records the rear video at all times, or just while active. I'm fairly sure it is only while active. As far as the video goes, it is decent. It defaults to 2K (1080p) and uses the HEVC/X265 codec to conserve space. It does show the 4K option in the settings, but I kept it at 2k because the video looks well enough. I still need to double check night-time driving to see if the quality works for that as well or if it needs to be 4K.With all that said, I've wanted CarPlay/Android ever since my wife got her CR-V which has it pre-installed. This helped get me the CarPlay functionality without going through the hassle of finding a compatible Honda stereo. It is not perfect, but it does work and I am happy with my purchase.
