Right out of the box, the Coolify Cyber impressed me with its premium feel and its excellent packaging (I really did not expect the opening experience to feel as nice as it does). Setup was a breeze: it paired effortlessly with my phone via Bluetooth, and the app seamlessly guided me through a firmware update, ensuring everything was up to date.Performance-wise, it works exceptionally well, with a sleek, low-profile design that doesn’t draw unnecessary attention. The fans are powerful but quiet, so they’re effective without being disruptive. And as someone who’s all-in on USB-C, I love that it charges with a single cable. So far, it’s been a fantastic addition to my daily routine!Some additional notes from real world use during the 100 degree heat wave:I agree with other commenters that the fan is most effective indoors or on public transportation. Outside, at least in hot and humid weather, it has a significantly reduced effect, even when run on full blast, so it can't beat everything (might as well run just on the fan to save battery). The cooling effect fighting the heat generates a good amount of condensation, so I highly recommend following the directions and cleaning off the neck areas regularly to prevent unwanted rashes.I also tried the heat function in rooms which were too cold inside and also found it to be quite pleasant and expect it will also help in winter.The weight is not especially significant, and the battery holds up well, ideally run at 80% to help extend the runtime. I have a portable battery, so I'm not especially worried if I need it longer, but without one it does need charging between commutes.

I work for the post office as a letter carrier in Texas, and the summers here are absolutely BRUTAL. Ive heard good things about neck cooling fans from friends so I did my homework.After I read the features on this model, specifically the COOLING features, and watching some product review videos with some competitors, I didn't hesitate to make the purchase.After the product arrived, I did a quick read through of the manual. Very easy to understand, interface is very straightforward.I've opted to not use the app at this time however, I see no reason for an app to need location information permission, especially in this context, which is unfortunate; there's an auto feature that's advertised to control temperatures based on various parameters. I suppose this was in response to the competitor, the ranvoo aice 3 having an "ai" feature that did something similar. I'm not sure from a technical standpoint how the hardware adjusts settings, that part seemed murky. Since it's just so hot outside for me anyway, not having the auto feature available without using the app isn't a deal breaker, I just set the cooler settings to max manually.Functionally, if you're wondering if this product actually "cools" then, yes, absolutely it does.When your outside in dramatic heat, youre clothes, hat, etc still feel hot, but that dramatic build up of intense body heat is dramatically reduced.For those who work outside for a living, you know that point when your body is just heat soaked and you need to stop and take a break somewhere cool, this product definitely helps your body maintain normal temperatures. When you get into a vehicle or building that has ac, this neck cooler will have a NOTICEABLE impact on how fast you recover. (You're still going to get hot, but it does help.)This thing is also pretty tight around your neck, but it does a good job of staying in place where you want it. Youre either adjusting it more for casual wearing comfort, or you might wear it in a more restrictive manner to get the cooling plates and the fans exactly where you can appreciate them more on a very hot day.If you have considerably large diameter neck, the fitment may bother you, and you might want to consider the larger Ranvoo.As far as recommendations, Id like Torras to consider coming out with with some kind of washable fabric liner. Obviously you want this to be as close to your skin as possible to appreciate the cooling effect, but where the cooling plates are in the inside collar, it's just smooth plastic, and it's in direct contact with your skin and there's no airflow for your skin to breath. Maybe in future iterations Torras can find a way to implement airflow so you don't feel like this thing is sticking to your neck but benefit from the cooling still.I haven't tested any other products in this category, overall, I say it does it's job well. I don't like the feeling it's sticking to your neck and I wonder if there's other products that have stronger fans (I almost have to wear it in such a way its hugging the bottom of my jaw to appreciate airflow to my ears where I'd prefer to have air to) but again, this is the context that you're outside in extreme heat anyway, with cooler temperatures you'll notice a nice, comfortable breeze surround your neck, face.If you're a professional working outside, hiking, doing yardwork in the summer, taking kids to an outdoor event all day, running errands and getting in and out of a hot vehicle constantly, this is a game changer, and you'll want to integrate this into your lifestyle. Especially with heat records constantly being broken.That being said, if it's a moderate to nice day out and you just want to use the fan, you'll have a long run time for all day use. Not many products in this category have a cooling feature and that comes at a price. You will want a power bank.. You'll get two hours on max settings, tops.I hope Torras continues to innovate in this space and approach it with the mindset that this is truly a wellness device.I doubt any other product in this category would hold up as well.

This product is fantastic it gets way colder than I thought it would get, and as someone who lives in Florida and works outside occasionally it's a real pleasure to have some kind of relief from the heat in the summer time. the product has a very premium feel and design to it! the only reason I gave it four stars is because I wish I had access to the fans for cleaning in the future other than that it's totally a five-star product. I would highly recommend this product especially to those who live where it's hot! It also has pass through charging which is great for extended periods of use it even comes with a right angle USB type c cable making it very comfortable to charge while wearing it, they really did think about making sure you have an excellent experience using this product! When it comes to functionality it's great! it has a button on the side to change through modes it also comes with an app that is very intuitive to use and as for the weight I don't even notice it, it's very well balanced and sits comfortably on the neck. It also has a nice zippered case for transport. When it comes to durability it never felt like it was going to slip off my neck but because it's electronic product I would not drop it intentionally to test its durability even though it seems to have a robust build quality for its weight. If your personal comfort is something you care about on a hot day I would suggest you get the coolify cyber because it is not just a fan it actually gets cold!

Unless I received one that maybe slipped through the cracks of quality control, this thing doesn’t really do what it claims. Sure, it’s a neck fan, it’ll blow air. But it’s described as this super expensive fan that will “chill” you. The unit itself feels cold on the neck itself, I’ll give them credit for that. But the air, the part the matters most, comes out as regular air. Never did it feel like COLD air. I kept trying different settings hoping I was just using it incorrectly but it just didn’t work. A simple $20 neck fan that blows air into your face was more helpful in cooling my face off than this overpriced piece of tech.Again, maybe I just received a dud, but if I did, it was a very expensive one.
