Hotel Collection Candle Trio Gift Set (Black Velvet)

The candles have a pleasant clean scent that ought to be generally pleasing. I found the fragrance to be nice, but it was slightly irritating to my asthma (it just happens sometimes). The wax, as listed on their website, is a soy-blend, and the glass containers are nice and simple. They look just as shown in the product photo. The back of the containers are solid black and they have labels on the bottom.I just think that they are overly expensive. I would never have normally gotten them if it wasn't for the Vine program, but I was very curious because I love quality candles and most people do seem excited about the black velvet scent. The idea behind the candles is that they are taking the fragrances of luxury hotels and turning them into products that people can use in their own homes. If you have a good experience in such a place and want to bring those memories back, smells are an exceptionally good way to do this since they are so strongly connected with memory and emotional responses. This is probably the main reason that people will buy such expensive candles. However, I do not have that association since when I travel it's almost always focused on natural wonders and various parks instead of luxury hotels. Still, it's a neat concept and I'd probably be just as enthusiastic if there were scents inspired by specific national parks which reflected the smells of those locations. However, if the candles are too expensive, it might just be better to allocate the money for another trip.

My wife loves candles (who doesn't?) so I knew the Hotel Collection Single Wick Candle Trio Gift Set would be a big hit with her. I was completely right! The packaging of this candle set is something exquisite from its heavy duty black finish box to the perfectly cut foam that surrounds each of the candles. The candles themselves are encased in a black matte glass with the logo on the front, single wick, and the smell is great; not "hit you in the face" but a subtle smell that's not overpowering at all. The question now becomes, does my wife keep these or save them as a gift because they're that good.

Looked it up on their website Aroma360 because this ad is not very telling. It’s supposed to evoke the scent of 1 Hotel, Miami Beach. It smells masculine to me. Scent of all three is powerful. I keep getting targeted ads for Hotel Collection, so was happy to see these candles and give them a try. I thought this was a variety pack, but all three candles are the same scent. I wasn't disappointed for too long because the scent is amazing. Has my house smelling like a fancy hotel. I was caught off guard because the candles look different from the product photos and don't have the Hotel Collection branding, so I thought I'd received a knockoff, but I did some searching and found that Hotel Collection is an Aroma360 brand, so these appear to be the real deal. I don't know if I would normally spend this much on candles, but I am happy to have them!
