10k test pass! Buying another
I've been pretty hard on this mold and after roughly 10k casts It wore out enough to produce wings without obstruction. Thats okay, I know Lee molds dont live forever. I powdercoat 15BHN, never used gas checks. They are my favorite range plinkers at 2275fps with 15.5gr of 1680 or IMR4198. Extremely accurate with my 16in barrel on the AM-15. I wanted just some powder conserving target loads and I've fired about 6k and not a single one has caused a failure to cycle, feed etc. If you want tips on how to powdercoat check out my TT at Leadfarmer11.0 or Jared Hempfield at Leadfarmer45. I've since been able to treat the molds better, I've got 15 and all Lee. Never use the sprue to clear the cavities, I tap the handle bolt with a billy club (pool cue bottom). Frequently smoking the molds and cleaning the vents, lubing the pins lightly.

Another great Lee six banger mold!
Let me say first off that I consider Lee six cavity molds to be the best value in bullet casting. I have more than 20 of them and all make lots of fine bullets fast. When I built my first AR this year I thought it would be fun to try casting plinking bullets for it. I got this six cavity Lee mold because of my past experience with the others. It didn't disappoint. I soon had several hundred shiny new bullets and only culled about a dozen that I screwed up on the pour. I powder coated and sized them and loaded up a bunch of .223 cases with 748 powder and these bullets. I chronographed them at an average of 2495 fps and they shot great. I banged away at my steel targets for an afternoon and when I cleaned up the barrel there was no leading. I basically built this rifle for plinking and these bullets are perfect for that!

cast good bullets does not comes with handle
nice 6 cavity Lee mold, I cast for 300 blackout and 9mm and wanted to started casting for 223. Will be using lyman #2 alloy with this and powder coat. Haven't test at the range yet but it is looking good. This will produce alot of nice cast bullets with little time. Like all the 6 cavity mold this does not comes with handle.

Good for bulk .223 (aiming for powder coating)
What does one look for in their molds?1. Good craftsmanship. This thing is well designed. I piured1,300 in two hrs. Only a few weren’t okay, but my hand got tired.2. Easy use. I started pouring and forgot my banging stick. I candle treated it before and rarely had to bang by hand.3. Quickly heated up to consistent temp, which meant uniform pours and molds.I’m using these now for powder coating and will see how they fly and at what speeds. Wish me luck.

1000’s
I have several lee molds. They all are great as long as they are treated correctly and took care of. As person can expect to get 1000’s of good casting from them. But this sealer was high price

... you are just making bullets for plinking this is great. Makes a lot of bullets real quick
If you are just making bullets for plinking this is great. Makes a lot of bullets real quick. If you are hoping to take them out consistently to long distances, pay for a higher end mold. When i did a sample of 500 bullets i made with this, the varied plus or minus 2 grains. the bullets you buy from hornady, vary by 0 grains. I still use it, and for anyone wanting to make lost of bullets for short to mid range plinking or practicing, this is a great mold. DOES NOT INCLUDE HANDLES.

Worth every dime.
A must for reloading in larger volume. IE: shooting with kids. I powder coat them, Size them (no lube). No leading and fun to shoot.
