Quick, Fun Read for Kids
Fantastic Mr. Fox in the Kindle edition was a nice find to read with my 8-year-old daughter. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, even if the story is on the simpler side. The story of Mr. Fox outsmarting the farmers is ad bit of fun. Itās the kind of book where you root for the clever hero and get a few good laughs along the way. My daughter loved the action and the characters, especially Mr. Fox's tricks. While it doesnāt have the deep, teachable moments of some other childrenās books, sometimes a story that's just pure fun is exactly what you need. And at its core, it still showcases quick thinking and teamwork, which are great, subtle lessons in themselves. The book is quite short, making it perfect for a quick read before bed, spread over a few nights. The Kindle format is convenient for me, especially when I need to read on the go or want to adjust the font size to let my daughter read for a while.Price-wise, itās fair for a Kindle book. Considering that it's a Roald Dahl classic, it was well worth it. Plus, thereās no denying the convenience of having a library in your pocket. In summary, Fantastic Mr. Fox is a fun, quick read thatās perfect for a light-hearted escape with your child. Solid 4 stars.

Very Enjoyable, Entertaining and Funny.
What I liked about this book is that it was very funny. Three farmers (Boggis, Bunce and Bean) want to kill a fox so they grab their shotguns and camp at Mr Fox's hole. Little do they know, the fox they want to deal with is far too clever for them, digs a tunnel right to their farms, steals their food and comes back unharmed (the only part harmed is his tail which was shot off by the brutes). Then they have a great big feast and whilst all that is happening the men are still sitting in front of their tents waiting stupidly for the fox. Also, they meet a few friends on the way. (I won't tell any more because I think I've spoilt too much).Overall, this IS (and will always be) a marvellous, tremendous, fantastic, exquisite book.By Andrew, age 9.

The same amazing Quentin Blake illustrations but in glorious Full Colour!
This is my favourite Roald Dahl book, they are all amazing, but this I keep going back to more than the others. It's such an amazing story even though it's one of the shorter of his more well-known ones.I've just finished reading this to my 5 year old son, I tried to read it to him before but only had a small, black and white illustrated, version which I've had for about 30 years. He was much more attentive and engaged with the story this time around and I think this has a lot to do with the book being larger in size (closer to A4) and full colour illustrations. The chapters are quite short, which is good when reading you your child before their bedtime. There is no 'filler' , just amazing story on every page. You've probably read this book before so know what is about, but if you don't have this larger, full-colour version, I strongly recommend you get it. It's 100% worth it. š
