Did I notice that these bottles were not from The Ordinary? No. I thought they were. But when I pulled one out to use, I figured why not? And this serum has acted just like The Ordinary with the same ingredients. No complaints.

Leaves a kind of sticky feel once dry. I don't like that.But it didn't irritate my skin, so that's a win. No odor. No tingling.

Niacinamide zinc serum by Mizeeye. I could not find any information on this company except it sells a wide mix of household goods. Box states formulated in USA, made in China. This is a 30ml dropper bottle of clear fragrance free serum. It is thinner in consistency than most serums I use. I like Niacinamide, it is a form if Vitamin B3 that helps skin repair. After applying it sat on my skin and was tacky and this lasted all day until I washed it off. in the evening The company make big claims for this serum with before and after photos. I am afraid I will not get that far because I cannot stand the sticky feel it leaves sat on my skin.

Niacinamide and Zinc are both being touted as great additions to facial treatments. The concentrations of both in this serum (Niacinamide 10%, Zinc 1%) are maximized for hopefully increased benefits. I can use all the help I can get.This serum has a gel consistency and leaves your face feeling a little tighter (which I like and need) yet not overly done. After it dries a bit, I add a second serum for other skin benefits, then finish with a daily moisturizer. Is this too much? My aging skin seems to like it all and looks better for it, so it must be okay!Only time will tell whether this combination is best, but my skin does seem to be a bit smoother and less dry. While it takes a while to reduce the spots, I swear they do seem to have faded a bit already. Am I expecting too much? I don't think so, and I'm happy with the results so far.

Ordinary dupe for their niacinamide serum.The ingredients are very similar and works in the same way.The serum feels nice on my skin it is a bit tacky feeling but it goes away as soon as you apply cream on top of it.⭐️ 1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable. I've been using this 1-2X daily since it arrived and am very impressed! For reference, I am in my early 50s with combination skin and a few fine lines. This serum contains the same 10% niacinamide/ 1% zinc found in the name brands, and--at least for me--it produced similar results. My skin seems to remain better hydrated throughout the day, it's bright and "dewy", and it is wonderfully smooth.The serum arrived in a glass bottle with a glass stopper; it has the consistency of slightly thickened water and needs to be shaken well prior to use. I find that a half dropper is plenty to do my face and neck. There is no detectable odour. The quality appears equal to the competition and at a virtually identical price point. Highly recommended!
