Very popular with the Waterfowl Mafia in Birmingham lakes and canals
"Quack. Quack quack quaaaaack. Quack! Quack quack quack. Quack? Quack quaaack. Quack" - mallard duck, 1 years old, EdgbastonFortunately (based on the frequency I have these on order) I'm fluent in waterfowl - ducks, swans, geese, moorhens, coots. It's a resounding success - the feed is very popular, very cost effective and I've never had any issues with ordering, delivery or feeding itself. It's like a moshpit during breeding and feeding season - a flurry of feathers and a battle for whatever deliciousness is contained in these.(Yes - I've nibbled a bit of these to see what the hype is about. I don't think it's translatable to human tastes - but nothing that will kill me!)

Ducks and Swans love us!
Good price and good quantities available to purchase. What happened to bread 😂 Ducks and Swans absolutely love us when we feed them, so I assume that the food is good quality and it tastes good. Also good to know that we are feeding them quality food. We tend to take some out in a bag rather than take the whole container.

Customer of 3 years (34 purchases) - a review of the item over the years
I have ordered this 34 times apparently over 3 years... so they're obviously doing something right! This product has been changed a few times (size, quality, recipe) and that stopped me from purchasing it for a while. I tried purchasing again when my other source ran out and it has somewhat improved. Although, whilst I give it a 4* review now, I must be honest and leave in my consideration of the product in 2020.(My 4* review reflects the fact that the company has rectified errors, but that errors did occur and the item has not returned to its pre-alteration state, which was more impressive). In the interests of honesty, I have updated my review to reflect the changes, but leave in my consideration of the product in 2020.2020 Review:Over the years, there's been inconsistency with this product. After 5 months of ordering, back in 2020, I had a bad experience when the item changed 2-3 times. First, the pellets were big and spherical and the duck/geese babies couldn't eat them, but the adults really enjoyed them. The pellets went smaller and the geese, swans and ducks ADORED it. The geese would avoid seed etc because they LOVED these protein pellets so much. The geese grew so big in such a short time. The recipe was amazing, and they were edible for the smaller geese and birds.Unfortunately, the shape, recipe etc has changed again, without notice. The pellets abecame milky button shaped (or Cadbury buttons), don't float like the others used to (some sink, some float), and have. distinctly different smell as well as appearance. The geese really disliked the food, and without being given notice, I was disappointed because I had 3 tubs of food that will be going to waste. It would have been nice to have been forewarned about the changes - not just in shape and size, but the recipe too.2023I am glad to say that things are back to normal in terms of taste and size of pellets. (I'm obviously speculating on taste, I'm not that committed to the Amazon review that I want to taste it). Honestly, I don't think the product has reverted back to its 2020 quality, as it previously was a product that no duck or goose would ignore, but of the same birds, some will no longer eat it.+ In terms of size, the pellets are edible for ducks and geese. Babies may find it too big, unlike previous pellets.+ The value is very good and you'll struggle to find the same elsewhere.+ The smell isn't overpowering+ Popular with most birds (seagulls go mad for them too) - unfortunately they don't appear as good as previous editions.+ Handy containers make it very easy to distribute (tubs have handles).- Undeniably the product previously changed without warning and that was upsetting, as I was a loyal customer and I was left with inedible pellets. That has caused some concern.- Sadly there has been no return to its original greatness, but it's comparable.

Great, ducks love them
Well I wasn’t sure about these and neither were the ducks at first, but now they love them. I top up their feed using these but scattering a handful in the pond during the day, if I think they need more feed. My ducks are free to wander and they love foraging but sometimes they follow my every step, so a handful of these tends to have them running to the pond and they’re gone in a flash. I would like a bigger tub, but other than that they’re great and float well.

A must have for any families that like the outdoors
We use this duck food to place into smaller sandwich bags to take on days out. We always keep a few bags in the car now as it's amazing how many times we have been on family days out and come across some hungry ducks! They love the food too and there is never any left once we start feeding.
